A January Diary.1st January 2008   
I approach the idea with much trepidation; it has taken a few days to get myself into a mindset in which I say I’m going to do it. However, as we pull ourselves drunkenly into another year, I find myself afraid. Afraid not of death but more of the fact that I might live through it, that I might (knowing my terrible luck) survive, that I might underestimate people’s ability to act in a fatal situation. I also doubt my ability to adequately commit to the deed, that I might make one cut and find my head corrupted by pain that I misinterpret as regret. Well, my life has suddenly been put on hold by the arrival of my exam periods. So all I can do for the next 4 weeks is work like hell in order to get all my crap done on time. This means all my writing (that I haven't been doing) has to stop in favour of art and photography. Gayness abound!
